Torino Inc. lifted and installed an emergency generator onto the roof of the building to support the client’s specific needs in biomedical research. Supplemental AC was added to support their Freezer Room and exhaust to the roof was installed for their work rooms and lab areas. The space also contains a 24/7 call center where great attention was placed on the acoustic properties of the construction elements, so the client is able to get the best use of their office without disruptive noise transfer. Frameless glass doors and sidelights were used throughout the space everywhere where noise, temperature, or lab conditions allowed it.
