Torino led the extensive construction effort to modernize the Centre Square lobby at 1500 Market in Philadelphia. The recent renovations that elevated this beloved hub of Center City required complex coordination to allow for the tenants, customers, guests, and public transportation users to access the area throughout construction. With support from the Nightingale team, Torino executed phasing strategies that mitigated disruption to all who utilize this busy space. The intent of the new design was to enhance the visitor experience, providing a fantastic first impression and enhancing the building’s architectural feature.

Torino achieved this through impeccable attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. This project included an expansion of the retail areas and included comprehensive finish upgrades including new stone and tile walls and full terrazzo flooring replacement, security station upgrades, and installation of a multi-story LED screen feature wall. Also included was the relocation of an exterior art piece from the side of the building to its interior and other exterior work including installation of the perforated metal façade details.
