Torino Inc. led the extensive construction effort to modernize the Centre Square lobby at 1500 Market in Philadelphia. The renovation required complex coordination to ensure continued access for tenants, customers, guests, and public transportation users throughout the construction period. With support from the Nightingale team, Torino Inc. executed phasing strategies that minimized disruption.
The project included a revamped modern lobby, fresh exterior decorative metal cladding, energy-efficient lighting, state-of-the-art plaza pavers, ultramodern landscaping, and brand-new storefront windows along Market Street. The new design aimed to enhance the visitor experience, making a fantastic first impression and highlighting the building’s architectural features.
TI’s meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship were evident in every aspect of the project. The expansion of the retail areas, including avant-garde finish upgrades, new stone and tile walls, terrazzo flooring replacement, security station upgrades, and installation of a multi-story LED screen feature wall, further enhanced the space. Additionally, an exterior art piece was relocated to the interior, adding to the overall transformation.
