Part-Time Intern for Torino Inc.

Position Summary: Torino Incorporated, a growing construction management firm, is looking for a part-time intern (15-20 hours/week) for our office. The ideal candidate is an organized individual who learns quickly and is eager to learn more about the construction management and/or design business.

At Torino Inc, an Intern has the opportunity to assist the team with the following:

  • Visit Jobsites and get hands-on experience
  • Learn various skills from the Project Management Team on the job, including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, and running a project smoothly from start to finish.
  • You will make a meaningful contribution to Torino Inc’s success, performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle.

Education: An outstanding Junior or Senior obtaining a bachelor’s degree in a related field including, but not limited to: Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, Construction Management, Real Estate, or other related degree.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining office and document organization

• Aiding in the bidding and submittal process

• Contacting subcontractors and property managers as necessary

• Submitting purchase orders and contractor request forms

• Other administrative duties as needed

• Assist with website updates and photography

Part-Time Superintendent Intern for Torino Inc.

Position Summary: Torino Incorporated, a growing construction management firm, is looking for a part-time intern (15-20 hours/week). The ideal candidate is an organized individual who learns quickly and is passionate about learning more about the field aspect of construction management process.

At Torino Inc, an Intern has the opportunity to assist Superintendents with the following:

  • Visit Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including, commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment and more.
  • Learn various skills from the Superintendent on the job including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, running a project smoothly from start to finish and working with the Superintendent on the jobsite.
  • You will make a meaningful contribution to Torino Inc’s success, performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related degree programs.
  • Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds.
